Fit Guidance
Size & Fit Guide
By SEGASTORE.
Start with your usual UK size
SEGASTORE footwear is listed in UK sizing unless the individual product page states otherwise. All current footwear uses a standard width, but fit can still vary by design, material, construction and intended sport.
How to measure your feet
- Place a sheet of paper on a hard, flat floor with one edge against a wall.
- Stand on the paper with your heel lightly touching the wall.
- Mark the point reached by your longest toe.
- Measure from the wall edge to the mark.
- Repeat for the other foot and use the larger measurement.
Measure while standing, ideally later in the day, and wear the type of socks you expect to use with the footwear.
Formal footwear fit
- Your heel should feel secure without severe slipping.
- Your toes should sit naturally without pressing against the front or sides.
- The widest part of your foot should align comfortably with the widest part of the shoe.
- Leather may feel structured when new, but do not rely on stretching to correct painful pressure.
Sports-shoe fit
- Use the socks, insoles or supports you intend to wear during activity.
- Check that the heel is stable and the midfoot feels supported without restriction.
- Allow appropriate toe room for movement, stopping and changes of direction.
- Test the fit indoors with sport-relevant movements, without marking the outsole.
Try footwear carefully
Try footwear indoors on a clean, soft surface while deciding whether the fit is right. Keep all packaging and tags until you are certain. Footwear worn outdoors may not qualify for a change-of-mind return.
