Product Care
Footwear Care Guide
By SEGASTORE.
Care begins after every wear
Remove surface dirt promptly, allow footwear to air naturally and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Always follow any product-specific care instructions shown on the product page or packaging.
Smooth leather footwear
- Wipe away loose dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Use a suitable leather cleaner sparingly and test it on an inconspicuous area first.
- Apply an appropriate conditioner or polish in light layers, then buff gently.
- Use shoe trees where appropriate to help retain shape and manage moisture.
Suede footwear
- Allow mud or moisture to dry naturally before brushing.
- Use a clean suede brush with light, even strokes.
- Use only products specifically designed for suede and test them first.
- Avoid ordinary leather polish, which can permanently alter the surface.
Sports shoes
- Remove loose soil with a soft brush or slightly damp cloth after use.
- Take out removable insoles and loosen laces to improve airflow.
- Do not use a washing machine or tumble dryer unless the product instructions expressly permit it.
- Use footwear only on surfaces suitable for its outsole and intended sport.
Drying wet footwear
Remove excess moisture with an absorbent cloth, lightly fill the footwear with plain paper and allow it to dry at room temperature. Do not place footwear on a radiator, use a hair dryer or expose it to direct high heat, as this may damage adhesives, leather and other materials.
Rotation and storage
Where practical, rotate frequently worn footwear so each pair can dry fully between uses. Store pairs clean and dry, with adequate space to avoid crushing or distorting the upper.
Warranty and care
Damage caused by unsuitable surfaces, misuse, neglect, incorrect care, improper storage or third-party repairs is not a manufacturing defect and is excluded from our voluntary warranty. Read the warranty terms.
